Sunrise Swimmer Lino Print
Inspired by my sunrise swims, this lino print features a swimmer walking into the cold, calm waters of my local swim spot at Devils Point in Plymouth.
The print is created from a sketch, which is then transferred onto a lino block, hand carved, inked and printed onto archival quality Somerset satin 250gsm printmaking paper. The print is created in two layers - first the sunrise blend background is printed, and then the foreground is layered on top.
This is the second edition of this print - printed in a new colourway with the addition of a pink sky hand painted in gouache.
Only 4 of this edition available.
As each item is hand printed slight variations may occur, but this makes every piece unique. Paper size may also vary very slightly, due to the fact it is hand torn to size.
The print area measures approx 20cm x 20cm and the paper size is 30.5cm x 30.5 cm (12" x 12"). Will fit a standard 12" x 12" off the shelf frame.
The artwork comes unframed and safely packaged in a card backed envelope.
